Reduction of CO2 emissions by using alternative fuels in a Wankel aircraft engine with E-Booster
Short Description
The aim of the work is to develop a CO2-neutral engine for small aeroplanes and UAV's based on an existing rotary engine with 392cc Chamber volume. On the basis of this engine a biologic and synthetic petrol (alternatives to petrol and kerosene) driven engine shall be supplied. In a further step the CO2 reduction potential of an electric "boost" function for the start process will be investigated.
