In the area of the key technology of digitalization, artificial intelligence, the study AI-on-Air was tendered by the BMK as an R&D service "Artificial Intelligence" as part of the national aviation program Take Off. The aim of the KI-on-Air study is to analyze the research potential of artificial intelligence (AI) for aviation in Austria and to derive fields of action in order to make the best possible use of the potential of AI for the Austrian aviation industry and research. Another aim of the topic of safety and security is to integrate this as a focus in the upcoming calls for proposals.
