Advanced Air Mobility

The up-and-coming future topic of drones is also being addressed in Austria in order to take the necessary steps for future RTI priorities. In 2022, the Austrian Association for Drones was founded in Austria to network and represent the interests of the professional Austrian drone community, and in the same year the Drone Acceptance Study (GARDA) was officially presented at the Drone Forum Austria. 

After a break of several years, the Drone Forum was held again on 28. November 2022 on the initiative of the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology in cooperation with Austro Control and the Austrian Research Promotion Agency.
